Thomasville Featured in Southern Living!

It’s out peeps! Grab the February issue of Southern Living…. flip to the Georgia section in the back…. and there it is! I had a blast showing Cory {the writer} around, she’s a sweetheart and loved our charming little part of the world. The article gives a good idea about why we love this place, although they could have gone on for pages about how entrepreneur-friendly we are, the landscape, the PEOPLE… that’s you! And you’re what makes Thomasville wonderful. How else would we be able to support all of these hometown businesses? Local living is sooo “Thomasville”.

If you’ve got some spiffy friends…. recruit them to the Ville!

If you’ve got a nifty business idea…. submit it to Townie Wish for useful feedback!

Thomasville is utterly awesome – don’t we all know – and it can only get better as we continue to invest our time + our hearts into making it a great place to live.

That's me + Dal-baby!

It’s pronounced “dee-nay”… not diner….

Got my invitation in the mail! Even if you didn’t, they’d still love to have you. This was a fun event last year, and this year they’ve even got a Broadway performer making an appearance.

Diner a la Troupe will be January 28th and will feature short performances from Broadway performer Tyrick Wiltez and a fun + fast auction for the themed dinners. Get a group and make your nite happen! Each dinner is an homage to a famous musical… like Wicked and the Lion King.

Even if the dinners aren’t your thing, consider dining out that nite in support – Liam’s, Mom + Dad’s and The Plaza have agreed to donate a portion of your tab if you specify you’re dining out for Troupe.

{What’s Troupe? The Thomasville Music and Drama Troupe is a fantastic program for middle and highschool kids from Thomasville and four surrounding counties. Students learn from teachers trained in the best music and drama schools in the country, including Julliard, and do two large scale performances per year. All students are welcome, whether they’ve had previous training or not. And apparently it’s lots of fun!}
